AudioGaming is a company developing next generation audio tools for sound designers and video game developers. We propose innovative solutions based on cutting-edge procedural audio research developed both internally and in partnership with internationally recognized laboratories.
Our products adopt a new and refreshing point of view, always giving control over the sound generation or sound processing in real-time. We extensively use sound manipulation and sound synthesis techniques to produce realistic and controllable sounds and effects.
Our goal is to create meaningful audio tools for next generation audio needs. We focus on increasing efficiency and quality of the sound designers work as well as crafting ergonomic tools offering new creative possibilities. We also seek to bring help to tedious and repetitive tasks by offering smart tools that are able to understand and process sound depending on its intrinsic properties.
We are not a lab spin-off or a major player trying to break into the audio video game market because it is becoming an important market. We got our ideas directly from our video game production experience and we wish to create smart, innovative and much-needed audio tools.
AudioGaming is composed of sound lovers. We’ve always seen audio from an interactive perspective and we wish to create tools that will help sound designers in their daily work as well as open new creative possibilities. We wish to switch from the real-time paradigm to the interactive time paradigm.

AudioGaming was founded in 2009 by Amaury La Burthe.
• June 2009: Laureate of French Ministry of Research Regional Contest (a highly competitive contest awarding funds for the most innovative projects of the year).

The funds raised have allowed the company to extend the team and to incorporate top researchers, as well as to accelerate our developments in order to quickly produce high end solutions.
We’ve spent the first few years working on the core framework needed by our project.
We’ve created a flexible architecture that enables us to integrate latest research advances from the audio signal processing field and combine them to craft efficient and innovative audio tools.
Those tools consist mainly of audio synthesis tools, audio manipulation tools, real-time effects and optimized DSP libraries. Our tools are dedicated to sound designers and video games creators. They can be used in post-production pipelines for cinema, television, anime etc. as well as video games, serious games or simulation softwares and any kind of virtual world.
